I became a mom 3 different ways...all unique and amazing stories. I have a grown daughter and three teenage boys! I am an OR nurse by day & sports mom on evenings, nights, and weekends. I am also Glammy to 2 precious baby girls! I'm doing my best to embrace and enjoy the current season of life without thinking too much about the past or worrying about the future. One thing I know for sure, the seasons are always changing!!

My new job
I started my new job on Monday. No more 25 mile commute for me. It takes me 4 minutes to get to the surgery center! The actual building is complete, but they are still working on the inside. They are not opening for surgery until March. So we get to spend a lot of time practicing their computer charting, setting up, putting supplies/equipment away, etc... Luckily I only work 2 days a week. I think that would be boring to do 5 days a week. We also have 3 classes to take in the month of February. They require several certifications that the hospital did not. I am very excited to be in a smaller environment!

Wow! That seems like a lot of practice time. How wonderful. I'll bet the care there is going to be excellent.
Good for you. I'm an RN as well- lactation/postpartum. It would be really nice to walk into a place that is completely new and coworkers that are all in the same boat.
